Purchased this B&T aluminum quad rail handguard to replace a factory polymer handguard on an HK SL8. Superior fit and finish on this B&T handguard. It is precisely machined with close tolerances to replace a factory polymer handguard without any adjustment or modification to B&T handguard or HK SL8 frame. Resulting in a "rock solid fit" without the wobble previously associated with HK SL8 factory polymer handguard. I highly recommend this product!

The previous review said it will fit an SL8 and it does! 100% drop-in. The rail is shorter than the standard G36 handguard but in a good way if you plan to cut the barrel. It doesn't extend beyond the gas piston. Got it here cheaper than going through third-parties.

Perfect drop in fit on an SL-8. Even though B&T customer service will tell you it won’t fit.
