Really takes the snag level down a notch. Makes the gun more backpack friendly. The original charging handle digs into the storage case foam

The folding CH works but is kind of sloppy compared to the factory CH. Another thing I noticed is the earlier versions of this charging handle had the B&T logo on them AND had a more positive detent. While function isn't impacted, quality is not what I expected and if I could go back, I would have just kept the original CH and not paid for this one.

The fit and finish is perfect as always from B&T. The folding charging handle is a simple upgrade to the original GHM charging handle. You cannot go wrong upgrading to the folding charging handle.

I love my GHM45, but one of the biggest issues out of the box is the standard charging handle. It sticks way out the side of the gun, is a huge snag hazard, and makes traveling with it in a bag or case more difficult. This solves that problem, slims down the gun, and makes it more easily concealable. Feels very well made as well.

Works great installed on left side and rubs on the right into the receiver?

The items is as described, installed it easily and it works great. The quality of the item is what you expect from B&T. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to narrow the profile of their GHM9without giving up any ability to charge the weapon. Its low profile makes it very workable.
